    DIRECTOR OF CURRICULUM & INSTRUCTION:  The Woodstown-Pilesgrove Regional School District, grades PreK–12, is looking for a person with strong educational leadership skills in the areas of curriculum development/coordination and staff supervision with a strong knowledge of staff evaluation, the common core content standards, and federal and state grants. Previous administrative experience preferred.  Candidates must hold NJDOE Supervisor, Principal, or School Administrator certificate.

    AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE TEACHER/CURRICULUM AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE EDUCATION (CASE) CERTIFIED PREFERRED:  Position available at Woodstown High School for the 2015-2016 school year.
     
    Qualifications are as follows:
    1. New Jersey certified or qualified for certification as "Teacher of Agriculture".  New Jersey certification in biology or physical science also preferred.
    2. CASE certified in one or more courses and/or willing to become CASE certified in courses leading to a program of study such as: 1) Intro to Ag, Food, and Natural Resources; 2) Principles of Ag Science -- Plant; 3) Principles of Ag Science -- Animal; 4) Food Science and Safety; and 5) Agriculture Research and Development.  (Other courses as they are developed.)
    3. Demonstrated ability to relate effectively with young people and with professional colleagues.
    4. Demonstrated proficiency and knowledge in all three components of a quality program such as: Agricultural Science, FFA, and SAE.
    5. Capacity for professional growth and ability to build a quality program of study that prepares students for college and career readiness in science, business, and technology of agriculture.
    Goals:
    1. To prepare students for global competitiveness in the science, business, and technology of agriculture by growing the three components (class/lab, Supervised Ag Ed Experience {SAE}, and leadership development provided through FFA) of the agriculture program into a quality program of study that articulates students to post-secondary institutions and successful careers.
    2. To help the students of Woodstown High School attain the skills required in the 21st century for college and career readiness.
     
    Candidates selected for an interview will be required to appear in person for an interview with multiple stakeholder groups invested in the program.
