Thank you for visiting our website. The administration and staff of Woodstown Middle School extend a warm welcome to those students and parents who are joining our school community for the first time, and a sincere welcome back to those returning for another school year. We have a staff of very caring teachers who make our school an enjoyable place to learn and grow.Our school provides professional learning communities that we call grade level teams. These teams are composed of subject area teachers, In Class Resource (I.C.R.) teachers and Basic Skills Instructors (BSI) who get to know the students on a personal level. These teachers meet regularly to plan curriculum, schedule events, and discuss student progress. Our team approach enables us to better provide for the individual needs of our students.Woodstown Middle School offers a wide range of courses that support the academic program. Our World Language program provides language and cultural instruction in Spanish. We also have an excellent program in the visual and performing arts. Last year we initiated a pre-engineering program for all students in grades five through eight.We offer a number of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Intramural sports include basketball, bowling, volleyball and tennis. Interscholastic sports include seventh and eighth grade girls’ field hockey, and seventh and eighth grade cross country for both girls and boys. Additionally, we offer a number of clubs and activities including yearbook, newspaper, student council, drama club, Select Choir, Women’s Choir to name a few. We are very proud of our school. Parents have always maintained an important role in the success of our programs and activities. We encourage all of our parents to continue to maintain a high interest in their children’s learning. We listen to the concerns of our students and parents and value their input. The entire staff is dedicated to assist you in making your years with us constructive, meaningful and rewarding.
