    About the choirs

Woodstown High School features three vocal ensembles. The general WHS Chorus is open to all students, regardless of experience. In addition, there are select groups (Concert Choir and Chamber Choir) that meet both during school and outside of the school day. Our select groups have achieved success at the regional level and have performed at numerous festivals and competitions, regularly achieving ratings of gold/superior. They also perform in a number of local concerts each year both for the high school and for local community organizations.

    Other opportunities

Our students have achieved success in regional, state and national choruses, including Salem County Chorus, South Jersey Chorus, All State Chorus, All-Eastern and other programs such as the Sound of America chorus and American Music Abroad. The director, Mr. Gunther, strongly encourages all qualified students to try their best to be a part of these ensembles. Their participation in such ensembles greatly enriches both their own musical experience as well as the quality of the choir.
