I have been supporting the students at Mary Shoemaker School for the past 22 years. For my first few years here, my focus was divided between being the school counselor and teaching special education resource room classes. For the next nine years, I supported all our students as their school counselor. For the 2011-2012 school year, I returned to the classroom supporting our resource room students. For this school year, I will be supporting Mrs. Kidder's first grade students.
I grew up locally in Franklinville, New Jersey. After graduating from Delsea High School, I furthered my education at the College of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown, NJ. I received a bachelor's degree in psychology and education with a certification in special education. Then, I received a master's degree in student personnel services from Rowan University.
I currently live in Upper Pittsgrove with my husband and two sons. In my free time, I enjoy watching sports. I can be found cheering on the Phillies or the Eagles or our Woodstown High School football, wrestling and baseball teams.
