• Welcome to Room 122!

My name is Katherine Ragonese and I will be your child’s teacher this school year. I am very excited about moving back to Shoemaker to join the kindergarten team! This will be my ninth year teaching, and my fourth year in the district. I have 7 years of experience teaching preschool inclusion. In addition, I have taught third grade, fourth grade, fifth grade special education, and a short taste of kindergarten! I graduated with a BA in early childhood education from Hood College (Frederick MD) in 2012, then continued to earn my teaching license in NJ at Rider University. I then continued my education towards a Masters in Teaching with a focus on Students with Disabilities. I currently live in Upper Pittsgrove with my husband, Sam- a police officer. My daughter Emma is 4, and is in Pre-k at UPS, my other daughter, Olivia, is 18 months old, and we have a dog, Chance Boy. When I’m not at school I love spending time with my family and making memories at the shore!
