    WOODSTOWN  MIDDLE  SCHOOL  ART

The Woodstown middle school art program strives to build creative thinkers and a knowledge base that students can utilize whether they are creating an oil painting or plans for an industrial design.  The focus is to expose the students to as many mediums, artists/designers and periods of art as possible while in the process building a deep understanding of the elements and principles of art.

I've been the art teacher here at Woodstown now for fourteen years.  In addition to teaching art at the middle school level I also teach 3-D design at the high school level.  I've also been the coach of the high school wrestling team for the past eight years.  If you have the chance please check out and like our Facebook page under Woodstown wrestling.

I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to teach and coach here at Woodstown and would encourage you to contact me with any questions or inquiries you may have regarding the art and or wrestling program.  I can be reached via phone or e-mail at hyland.a@woodstown.org.

I will post images on the Projects page after each marking period of some of the best examples of our projects so you may have an opportunity to see exactly what it is we are creating in class.
