    Hello Shoemaker Rockstar Families: 

     

    We sure do hope you had a great weekend. Thank you again for your support during our first two days of school and all who were able to attend our Meet and Greets! Communication and making connections are important and we will host Parents as Partners events this month centered around reading, technology, and an open format for questions. More information to come on this! 

     

    **Virtual Back-To-School Night 9/15/20**

    Our Virtual Back-To-School Night is Tuesday 9/15/20 at 6:30pm. Please visit our website https://www.woodstown.org/Domain/10

    for our Back-To-School meeting links and information.  The teachers have created presentations for you to view ahead of time and at 6:30pm you can sign on to a live Google Meet to talk with the teachers. At 7:15pm Ms. Cioffi and Mrs. Hildebrand will be available for questions.  

     

    **Weekly Supply Pick-Ups*

    As a reminder, our staff will have non-confidential materials available for pick up each Friday at 5pm through Monday at 8:00am. Bins will be located out in front of the school during this time.

    Attention Families:  On September 3, 2020, the United States Department of Agriculture in conjunction with the state of NJ elected to allow FREE MEALS to all students 18 and under through December 31, 2020. Please see the MSS website under News and Announcements: NutriServe Menus and Ordering Information for further details.

     

    **WP-PTO**

    SAVE THE DATE: The first meeting of the WP-PTO will be at 7pm on Wednesday, September 23rd. Please try to join our wonderful group of PTO volunteers-they do so much for our students! You will receive a link for the meeting as it gets closer!

    ** Healthy Kids Community Running Series**

            In Person Races this Fall for PreK - High School Runners

     

    Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program that takes place once a week and offers age appropriate running events. Runners compete each week for a chance to earn points. At the end of the Series the boys and girls who accumulate the most points in their respective distances are awarded trophies.  All participants receive a medal on Week 5! The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the series and includes a HKRS Tech Shirt.

     

    The first race is September 27 at 5 pm. For more information or to register:

    **Family Success Center**

     

    Birds Eye Family Success Center - (Pennsville & Woodstown locations)

    Family Success Centers are community-based, family-centered neighborhood gathering places where community residents go for family support, interactive workshops, activities and groups.  ALL FREE AND FUN!
