I am a native of Puerto Rico and I am very proud to teach my language and my culture to your child here at Woodstown. I have been working in education for fifteen years. I teach Spanish in WRS, WMS, and WHS. In addition to being a Spanish teacher here at Woodstown, I am also an Adjunct at Deltech Community College where I teach Spanish and ESL.
I believe that every student is capable of learning and growing. I see the value in allowing students the opportunity to see mistakes and imperfections as part of the process of growing. There are various types of learners and keeping every student excited and engaged about learning is essential. I understand that every child has different strengths and weaknesses in their learning process. Therefore I am committed to having differentiated instruction in my class with a variety of opportunities for my students’ to achieve their goals. Creating an environment that students feel a part of, safe, welcomed, and supported involves students in their own learning. I can't wait to see what all my students teach me and grow alongside them.
