Salem Community CollegeAcceleration Program - CAP(formerly Dual Credit) Agreement2022Students can still sign up for CAP/Dual Credit but will not be able to get the discounted rate.
NEW Early Deadline for CAP (Dual Credit): As you know, in previous years the published deadline for students to apply for dual credit was in late July. Students would wait until after they completed the dual credit eligible courses to submit their paperwork to SCC to receive the college credit. Beginning this year, the deadline will occur during the school year, instead of after. This year’s deadline will be Friday, February 25, 2022. Students must submit their paperwork (CAP Application, CAP Request Form, copy of their unofficial transcript or school schedule, and payment) prior to this deadline to receive the reduced CAP/dual credit tuition rate. This year’s rate is $68/credit.
The College Acceleration Program (also known as Dual Credit) is an excellent way for Woodstown High School students to earn college credits at a significant cost reduction while attending high school. Your student may be enrolled in a College Acceleration Program (CAP) course at Woodstown High School. If your student is eligible and interested in receiving CAP credits, he/she should complete the following steps:- Complete the College Acceleration Program (CAP)/Dual Credit form.
- Complete the Request for Dual Credit form.
- Submit appropriate payment for each course(s) at the rate of $64 per credit. Check or money order is preferred.
- Drop off or mail all items to Salem Community College no later than Friday, February 25, 2022:
